Everyone I talk to these days is looking for something that makes them feels better and I know of nothing better from a style standpoint than a favorite LBD! And this LBD from MaxStudio has something for just about everyone!

I have often been asked if this site is a straight blog or a shopping site. The answer is that I was testing the waters of the site to see if truly outstanding vendors would be willing to partner with what we were doing here. As you are about to see, it took a few months but the answer is “YES”
I had set in my mind and my marketing that this shopping website was due to launch on Saturday November 1. Well, never do a dry run and test for a website launch on Halloween. We were so optimistic that the launch was going so smoothly that we did not even notice that the GlamourByLBD blog went down!
As you can see, the blog is back up but we have pushed the launch of the shopping site out until Monday.
The content is there. We are just being cautious to maintain the stability of the site. Look for a limited site launch of our wonderful site on Monday. Mark the site and check back frequently because through the month of November, we will reach full scale!
What’s so great about another shopping site? We will offer you the best values in looks you will love from designers you know. And introduce you to emerging designers who you need to know!
I will continue to offer daily style advice on this blog. The difference is that I will be pulling from a much larger range of products. Please shop if you find what you are looking for and contact me if you don’t.

Gray is such a versatile color that most everyone can wear some hue as a backdrop to blues, reds, purples, pinks and even yellows or browns. Be careful not to limit yourself to gray with black. This is not only highly predictable but also drab. This season, you will find it as an important color not only on clothing but on accessories such as shoes and handbags– it is a great way to tone down a very trendy style and make it wearable to work. On the other hand, a subset of gray is silver, which is the most prevalent bling metalic of this season.
